¡Bienvenidos! 

I'm Srta. Martinez and I teach Spanish 1. I'm from Guayama, Puerto Rico and went to middle and high school here at Woodland! I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's of Art in Spanish. During my time as an undergraduate student, I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Mexico City, Mexico where I was able to immerse myself into very different but equally as beautiful cultures. I also lived in the gorgeous city of Málaga, Spain for a few months in 2019. I am currently working on my Masters of Art in Teaching with a concentration in Spanish and I am beginning my third year teaching! I have had the pleasure of working with Rosetta Stone during the 2020-2021 year and am proud to share that my courses achieved county-wide recognition for 95% overall usage. I'm so excited to share this beautiful language with my students and I hope my students will share that enthusiasm everyday in the classroom.
